Vernique R. Hutchinson
Vernique Hutchinson is a Managing Attorney at McCreary Veselka Bragg & Allen PC, where she represents Texas appraisal districts in property tax litigation and advises district boards on compliance, governance, and legal strategy. Over her nearly two-decade career, Ms. Hutchinson has tried more than 30 jury cases in District Court and conducted over 100 depositions. Her broader practice background includes insurance defense, municipal tort defense, and commercial real estate, with clients ranging from national retailers and insurance carriers to real estate developers and nonprofits.
Ms. Hutchinson is an active contributor to the Houston legal and arts communities. She serves as Vice Chair of the Houston Arts Alliance Board of Directors and was elected a Director of the Houston Lawyers Association in 2025, where she chairs the Advocacy Committee. She is a dedicated mentor to emerging legal professionals.
