Connie Rose

Connie is considered the State’s foremost expert on Truth-in-Taxation matters. She authored Truth-in-Taxation 2018: A Guide for Setting Tax Rates. She assists tax offices with tax rate adoption issues, such as calculating and publishing effective and rollback tax rates. Connie’s career has centered on Texas property taxes, starting with the City of Palestine and retiring from the State Comptroller’s Property Tax Assistance Division.
